Waterloo Man Shot in the Face, Flown to Iowa City
Iowa – A 44 year old man was shot in the face Tuesday afternoon in Waterloo, and has been flown to Iowa City with severe injuries. KWWL reports Terrell L. Manning was struck by a bullet in the left side of his face, and is now in Iowa City.
The shooting happened at approximately 4:25 pm yesterday, Tuesday, on Logan Avenue and Kern Street in Waterloo, Manning was apparently sitting outside his home at the time of the shooting. The Courier reports that despite the severity of this injuries, police expect Manning to survive. What is unclear is if he was the target of the shooting, or why exactly the shooting occurred. As of Wednesday morning, no arrests have been made in the shooting. Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to call police.
