Woman Charged in Deadly Robbery

WATERLOO – – A Waterloo woman has been charged for her role in a robbery that ended in the shooting death of Vincent Hemenway in August. 40 year old Tonkeya Jackson, who was already in the Black Hawk County Jail after violating parole, was charged with one count of second degree robbery. She is the third person charged in this case. Police say they found messages on Jackson’s phone that including maps of the area and telling other suspects to bring guns. Hemenway was shot in the robbery on August 15th. He was taken to Allen Hospital where he died. No murder charges have been filed to this point, however.
