The Iowa Department of Public Health on Wednesday reported 116 additional COVID-19 related deaths

Davenport, IOWA – The health officials have reported that the additional deaths were reported between Nov. 26 and Jan. 13.
The 116 additional COVID-19 related deaths bring the state’s total to 8,317.
36,823 positive tests were reported in the last seven days.
Iowa’s 14-day positivity climbed from 24.3% to 24.8%.
According to the Iowa Department of Public Health, the number of patients hospitalized with COVID-19 increased from 953 to 991.
Of those hospitalized with the virus, 64% are unvaccinated, while 72% of those listed in intensive care with the virus are unvaccinated.
