Suspect in custody following stabbing on SE 14th Street, police say

Des Moines, IA – Des Moines Police Department officials said the stabbing occurred right after 6 a.m. Tuesday.
It happened on SE 14th Street.
Des Moines Police Department officers responded to a report of a stabbing.
The responding officers discovered that the suspect, who was not identified, stabbed the female victim following an argument.
The unidentified woman suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
The suspect was arrested and taken into custody.
This incident remains under investigation.
