Shooting on West 2nd Street leaves 41-year-old man dead, no suspects

Waterloo, IA – According to the police officials, the shooting occurred around 4:11 a.m. early Tuesday morning.
It happened on West 2nd Street.
Waterloo Police Department officers responded to a shooting call.
When the officers arrived on scene, they found one adult male victim.
Police said the 41-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound and was taken to a hospital for treatment, where he later died.
The victim’s identity has not been released.
This incident remains under investigation.
