Power restored to MidAmerican Energy customers

WATERLOO – As of 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, MidAmerican Energy said 1,267 customers in the Waterloo area are without power.
A company spokesperson said crews found a detached power line in the area most likely due to weather.
The outage started around 8:30 a.m. Crews hoped to have it restored around 10:15 a.m.
