One person is dead after a minivan crashed into a semi Tuesday morning

Bremer County, IA – Iowa State Patrol officials said the accident occurred right before 9 a.m. Tuesday.
It happened on Highway 63 in Bremer County
The responding troopers discovered that the semi was southbound on Highway 63 when it slowed for traffic crossing at 190th Street.
The 43-year-old driver of the minivan reportedly crashed into the rear of the semi.
His name is Chad Workman and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the semi suffered injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
He was later identified as Jose Agular Soto.
This incident remains under investigation by the Iowa State Patrol.
