Motorcyclist seriously injured in crash on Interstate 80 after he failed to negotiate the curve on the exit ramp
Adair County, IA – According to the Iowa State Patrol officials, the crash occurred right before 2 p.m. Saturday afternoon.
It happened at the Interstate 80 westbound Interstate 76 mile marker off-ramp.
Iowa State Patrol troopers responded to a report of a crash.
The responding troopers discovered that the 50-year-old motorcyclist, later identified as Robert Hobbs, was exiting Interstate 80 westbound when he failed to negotiate the curve on the exit ramp.
The 50-year-old man then lost control of the motorcycle and crash.
Troopers said that Hobbs suffered serious injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
