Man, woman arrested on firearm, drug charges after deputies conduct search warrant on Thursday

Fayette County, IOWA – According to the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office,  both suspects were taken into custody on Thursday.

 Fayette County Sheriff’s deputies executed a search warrant at 601 2nd Street Northeast around 3:09 p.m.

The responding deputies reportedly found marijuana, methamphetamine, paraphernalia and firearm.

Jamie Levendusky, 47, is now charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance, assault on a peace officer, interference with official acts causing injury and possession of drug paraphernalia. 

Jeremy Durnan, 48, is now charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. 

More charges are pending, officials said.
