Man facing charges following incident at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics

Iowa City, IOWA – Police officials said the suspect reportedly kicked and spit at a hospital worker.
He then tried to stab several security officers, threatened to shoot another person and threatened to blow up the hospital.
His name is Tyler Summers and he is now facing multiple charges.
This incident occurred at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics on Sunday.
The suspect reportedly destroyed a hospital bed worth thousands of dollars.
This incident remains under investigation.
