Fire severely damages Bluff Street home; 6 people displaced
Cedar Falls, IA – According to the Cedar Falls Fire Rescue, this unfortunate incident occurred right before 10 a.m. Friday morning.
It happened on Bluff Street.
Cedar Falls Fire Rescue crews responded to a report of a house fire.
The responding crews saw heavy smoke and fire coming from the residence.
They were able to quickly extinguish the blaze.
According to the Cedar Falls Fire Rescue, the owner was not home at the time of the fire and there were no injuries.
Officials said the residence sustained significant fire, smoke, and water damage.
The Red Cross was called to the scene to assist the homeowner and family of six.
