Fire crews respond to garage blaze Monday morning

Cedar Rapids, IA – Cedar Rapids Fire Department officials said this incident occurred around 9:50 a.m. Monday.
It happened on Red Fox Rd SE.
Cedar Rapids Fire Department crews responded to a report of a garage fire.
The responding crews prevented the fire from moving into the home.
The garage is a total loss, officials said.
The interior of the home sustained smoke and water damage.
All occupants and their pets were all able to evacuate safely from their home.
No one was injured in this incident.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
