Deputies investigate E. Washburn Road shooting that left one person injured

Waterloo, IA – According to the Black Hawk County Sheriff’s Office, the shooting occurred right before 2 a.m. early Sunday morning.
It happened on E. Washburn Road.
Deputies responded to a shooting call.
When the deputies arrived on scene, they discovered that a juvenile victim was taken to a hospital by a private vehicle.
BHCSO officials said the victim suffered not life-threatening injuries and is expected to survive.
The victim’s age or identity have not yet been released.
No suspects have been arrested yet, officials said.
