Crews respond to residential structure fire Saturday night on B Avenue NW

Cedar Rapids, IA – According to the CRFD officials, this incident occurred right before 8 p.m. Saturday.

It happened on B Avenue NW. 

Cedar Rapids Fire Department crews responded to a report of a house fire.

The responding crews saw smoke and flames coming from the residence.

They were able to quickly extinguish the blaze.

No one was injured in this incident, officials said.

According to the CRFD, the house was severely damaged by the fire and 6 people were displaced.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
