Child Struck by Car

A child was struck by a vehicle in Waterloo Tuesday afternoon according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. The child, who is reportedly around 3 years old, was hit in the 500 block of Cottage Street around 4:00 Tuesday afternoon. They were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries. The child was conscious and alert and the injuries were not thought to be life threatening. The driver of the vehicle did stay at the scene of the accident.
