Authorities investigating shots fired incident on E. Grand Avenue

Des Moines, IA – According to the Des Moines Police Department, the shooting occurred around 1:09 a.m. early Monday morning.

It happened on E. Grand Avenue.

Des Moines Police Department officers responded to a shooting call.

When the officers arrived on scene, they discovered that the female suspect fled the scene.

Witnesses told investigators that the unidentified female suspect was shooting a gun outside the Maingate Bar.

No one was injured in this incident, police said.
