3 dead after vehicle vs. semi crash at the intersection of Hammond and E Shaulis

Waterloo, IA – Police officials said the fatal crash occurred right before 10 a.m. Monday morning.

It happened at the intersection of Hammond and E Shaulis.

Waterloo Police Department officers and Waterloo Fire Rescue crews responded to a report of a crash.

The responding officers reportedly located located a Semi and a vehicle that had been involved in the crash.  

The driver and two occupants of the motor vehicle were pronounced dead at the scene. 

No names will be released due to pending family notification, police said.  

This incident remains under investigation.
