Independence, IA – According to the City of Independence Water Department, the shutdown will happen around 7:00 a.m. and is expected to last most of the day.
Officials have announced that the affected area will be as follows:
- 3rd Ave. SE from 1st St. SE to 7th St. SE
- 4th Ave. SE from 4th St. SE to 7th St. SE
- 2nd St. SE from 2nd Ave. SE to 3rd Ave. SE
- 3rd St. SE from 2nd Ave. SE to 3rd Ave. SE
- 4th ST SE from 2nd Ave. SE to 4th Ave. SE
- 5th ST. SE from 2nd Ave. SE to 4th Ave. SE
Officials said that other areas near this location could be affected as well.
“We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause,” the City of Independence Water Department said.
