Single-vehicle crash near the corner of 230th Street and Nevada Avenue leaves two dead
Humboldt County, IOWA – Iowa State Patrol officials said the fatal accident occurred right after 6 a.m. Saturday morning.
It happened near the corner of 230th Street and Nevada Avenue.
Iowa State Patrol troopers responded to a report of a crash.
The responding troopers discovered that the 17-year-old driver of a pickup truck lost control of the vehicle and left the roadway.
The vehicle then rolled multiple times and ejected both of its occupants.
Both the driver and the passenger suffered life-threatening injuries and were pronounced dead.
They were later identified as 17-year-old Gavin Maines and 18-year-old Madison Fraker.
This incident remains under investigation.
