70-year-old driver killed in single-vehicle rollover on Main Road
Black Hawk County, IA – According to the Black Hawk County Sheriff’s Office, the fatal single-vehicle crash occurred around 4:09 p.m. Sunday afternoon.
It happened on Main Road.
Black Hawk County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of a crash.
The responding deputies discovered that the 70-year-old driver, later identified as Barbara Wallig, lost control of her vehicle/
Her vehicle then entered the ditch and rolled several times.
The 70-year-old woman suffered life-threatening injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to the Black Hawk County Sheriff’s Office, the 70-year-old woman was the only person in the vehicle and there were no other vehicles involved.
This incident remains under investigation.
