52-year-old man is dead after he reportedly rear-ended a semi trailer on Highway 218

Bremer County, IOWA – ISP officials said the fatal accident occurred right after 8 p.m. Saturday.
It happened on Highway 218.
Iowa State Patrol troopers responded to a report of a crash.
The responding troopers discovered that the 52-year-old driver left the roadway and hit a semi trailer parked on the shoulder of the off ramp.
The 52-year-old man suffered life-threatening injuries and was pronounced dead.
He was later identified as Eric Stenseth.
The semi was not occupied, troopers said.
No other information is available at the moment.
