3 suspects arrested, charged with attempted murder after 11th Place shooting

Des Moines, IOWA – According to the police officials, the shooting occurred right after 9 p.m. Sunday night.

It happened on 11th Place.

Des Moines Police Department officers responded to a shooting call.

When the officers arrived on scene, they found two victim.

Police said both victims (31-year-old woman and a 33-year-old man) suffered serious injuries and were taken to a hospital for treatment. 

Police officials said that 3 suspects were arrested and taken into custody.

59-year-old Robert Lyons and 37-year-old Rebecca Lyons are now charged with three counts of attempted murder.

29-year-old John Alcorn is now charged with three counts of attempted murder and felon in possession of a firearm.

This incident remains under investigation.
