16-year-old male suspect in custody following shooting on Dawson St
Waterloo, IA – According to the Waterloo Police Department, the shooting occurred right after 6 p.m. Wednesday evening.
It happened on Dawson St.
Waterloo Police Department officers responded to a shooting call.
When the officers arrived on scene, they found one victim.
Police said the victim suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
The victim’s age or identity have not yet been released.
The responding officers reportedly detained a 16-year-old male suspect.
It was reportedly determined that he had been the shooter.
The unidentified male suspect was taken into custody and charged with multiple charges, including: Robbery 1st Degree, Willful Injury, Intimidation with a Dangerous Weapon, and Going Armed with Intent.
